FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long are files kept?

Until the retention window you pick at upload time elapses, after which they are deleted automatically.

Where is my file list stored?

Your upload history is kept locally in this browser. Clearing site data removes the list (but not the files themselves until they expire).

Is there a file size limit?

Yes. Uploads larger than the server maximum are rejected before they start.

How do I report a file?

Use the Report page to flag problematic content.

Is Juicebox free?

Yes. Juicebox is free to use with no account required.

Can I share upload links with anyone?

Yes. Anyone with the link can download the file until it expires. No account is needed on the recipient's end.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your local file list is removed, but the uploaded files themselves remain on the server until their retention window expires. You will not be able to manage them from the Files page anymore.

How do I delete a file early?

Go to the Files page and click the delete button next to the file. You can also revoke access by changing your storage host.

What file types are supported?

Most file types. The server may block dangerous types like executables, scripts, or HTML files depending on the protection level configured by the administrator.

Is Juicebox end-to-end encrypted?

Files are transferred over HTTPS. Storage encryption depends on the juicehost you connect to. Juicebox itself does not encrypt files at rest.
